WomanSource Rising - Life Resources Institute

WomanSource Rising is a non non-profit community organization founded in 1974 to promote social equality, economic, and cultural health for all women.

WomanSource Rising has a commitment to empower women to actively participate as agents of progressive change, reducing poverty and injustice for women everywhere, interacting with the global community and making changes at a grassroots level.

We work to provide an international network for collaborating with people around the world, promoting principals of eco-feminist peace and justice. Our eco-feminist media initiative aims to educate and increase participation in the democratic process, world affairs, stimulate a culture of peace and remove barriers to equal representation of women in the media. We design cultural events that celebrate solidarity and sisterhood through educational workshops, music and art.

Our political action initiative provides a venue for all women to participate in creating the cultural, environmental, and political changes that eliminate violence against women and girls, promotes civil rights and equal representation in electoral politics.
