Why should I donate money to Life Resources Institute and how will my donation be used?

Your tax-deductible donation to LRI helps fund important programs that serve youth, indigenous peoples, and others who are committed to making their lives better. 10-16% of your donation will be allocated to help defray the overhead costs of providing administrative support to these programs, and the balance is used for program development or operating costs. Thank you for contributing!

How do I donate money to Life Resources Institute?

We accept donations using PayPal, or you can mail us a check or money order payable to Life Resources Institute to 116 High Street, Ashland, OR 97520 USA. If you'd like to use PayPal, please follow these steps:

• At the bottom of this page, click on the button above the amount you want to donate. If you wish, enter a comment that will appear on the Supporters page of Life Resources Institute's website. Then click the PayPal Donate button.
  
• You will be automatically redirected to the secure PayPal website, where you can donate using your credit card, debit card, or your PayPal account.
  
• Once your donation has been submitted, PayPal will e-mail you a receipt. Life Resources Institute will confirm your donation with a Thank You letter within a week. A listing of donations you have made will also appear in the Donations section of our website unless you opt out.

I live outside the United States; can I still contribute money to Life Resources Institute?

• Yes, since the Life Resources Institute donation system accepts donations through PayPal, we are able to accept contributions from many different countries (including the United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, China, United Kingdom, Denmark, and others). PayPal will handle the currency conversion on your behalf. Additional information regarding currency conversion will be provided by PayPal after you have reached step 3 in the donation process.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

• Donations to Life Resources Institute are fully deductible to the extent of the law. Life Resources Institute is a Nonprofit Public Charity exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax i.d. number is 93-1230130.

How will my contribution be recognized?

• A Supporters page (publicly accessible) listing donors and their comments is maintained on this site. If you would like to opt-out of display of your donation on the Supporters page, check the opt-out box when making your donation.

What fees will be deducted from my donation?

• Processing fees are deducted from each donation by PayPal. This varies depending on the specific nature of the donation and any currency conversion.

I am having a problem using the donation system -- PayPal is not accepting my donation.
